The free peoples here isn't for the faint of heart. You are always flirting with the edge of disaster and when it goes wrong, it goes really wrong. That said,
Don't Follow the Lights
can get you out of numerous jams if played correctly and while you aren't exhausting everything in sight, you can still do some
good work
with
Don't Look at Them
and
Mind Your Own Affairs
.
Saruman's Power
is the biggest hurdle this deck faces.
The Shadow is a fairly standard Uruk Archery set. It works really well in the King Standard environment where Frodo is still the ring-bearer but you run into a few cases of
Such a Weight to Carry
instead of
Answer to All Riddles
.
This deck is comfortably tier two or three, but those are often the decks I find the most fun to play. You're playing against your opponent, yes, but you're also playing against chance and the perfect hand that you often aren't in the standard Last Alliance/Bow People deck.
