It ramps. It accelerates into a turn 3 Lightning Angel, a turn 4 pair of Serra Avengers and a turn 5 Numot!

Ideally. In reality, it still does pretty well. The Annelid is a bit...meh, trying to think about what could replace him.

On the other hand, multiple Annelids are great vs Evil Eye of Urborg.

You don't need more than 2 Demonfires. Also, you DO need to lose Flagstones and pack fetchlands, WAY better. You can lose Avenger, Dominus and Annelid in favor of a set of Court Hussar and possibly 2 Aeon Chronicler. Lose 1 Numot, not that necessary. Then, pack the fourth command, maindeck Pyroclasm and consider Remand.
