I made it and ran it last night, was pretty awesome. Mind you i wasnt using any eldrazi but fortunately wasnt facing creature kill. Out of 4 games 2 of them went pretty well getting each creature to like 9/9 by turn 5 or 6 etc, let down by lack of trample but eventually wore em down. One of the games was insane, drew 3 strength of the tajuru, 1 archdruid and 2 warcallers with about 16 mana at my disposal. By turn 7 i had 6 53/53 creatures on the table, i only didnt kill him before as he naya charm tapped all my elves! But swinging for 300 damage was SWEET.

Last game i got punished due to lack of warcaller. The deck REALLY falls down without him. I need a way of getting him faster.

Great to hear!

Yes the deck has problems without warcaller, however, an acceptable alternative comes in the form of: An archdruid, strength, eldrazi monument. With those, each elf should get at least +3/+3, and probably more. So you should have more than a few 4/4s and hopefully some 5/5s or better. Not great, but enough to do the job. Trample can also really help that. It has options without warcaller, but it does have more trouble. Very awesome.

I am trying to decide on a new deck to get (IRL), and so far I've decided it's either this one or my life gain deck. Both are very powerful, and though my life gain deck is better, I'm afraid that it will not work as well without wall of reverence, which is probably going to be rotating out with alara (unless it is in M11). Decisions, decisions...

I'd keep this one. Life gaining sucks, mostly.

I have a friend that runs the life gain with walls of reverence and i hate it. Its well hard and annoying, but i can honestly say the wall is what makes it awesome. I sadisitic sacramented the deck and i removed his walls and his deck was good but manageable without it. Thought haemorrhage and maelstrom pulse (and sacrament) all screw the deck over.

So if your worried about rotation of that card id say go elves because with the loss of the wall the deck wont go as well im guessing. (If its like my mates anyway).

Elves Rule!

My life gain deck beats Jund all the time, Boros most, Jacerator most, Naya all, RDW all, WW most, eldrazi most, vampires always, etc...

My life gain does NOT suck. It's better than just about every top deck in the format.

As for wall of rev, it doesn't go out til october, and I think when it does, ruin ghost + Serji step will be a decent alternative.

Well, to each his own. I'll test to see if it works.

BTW, I was telling witchking that it was good, not you Smiley
