Simple Elf Deck.
« on: January 20, 2009, 02:44:50 PM »
Starting:
Frodo, HoFP w/ The One Ring, Answer To All Riddles
Legolas, Greenleaf
Arwen, QoEaM

Companions:
Elrond, Venerable Lord
Haldir, SotGW
Shrouded Elf x2

Possessions:
Hadafang x1
Blade of Lindon x4
Elven Bow x4

Events:
Inside A Song x2
Many Miles x4
Kindreds Estranged x2
Final Shot x4
Defiance x1
Supporting Fire 1

Conditions:
Standing Tall x4

Pretty Self Explanatory here. Not much to be said besides that the Greenleaf gives Archery wounds(or uses his text), Arwen fights.

For People who want to comment, I'm trying to keep this really simple, I don't want everyone harassing me about how I don't have this great card or how I have to choose archery or fighting.

Comments, yes. A complete new deck in one post, no.

Time
What know we of this despondent thing
No sign no sound no tranquil ring
We try to tell its quantity
yet fail to see the point
Only one can know of it
to this eternal joint
We have not power in Use
To hold this creature bay
But only wait for it to change
Inside the soul of it we lay

Seems fine. I don't like Inside A Song and given that you're not reinforcing any tokens, it seems like you'd be better off just packing more skirmish pumps like Supporting Fire (which is not standard, nor is Greenleaf; if you include those cards, this needs to be in the Expanded forum), Point Blank Range or Kindreds Estranged.

You might want some way of making forests for Kindreds Estranged and Standing Tall. Obviously Gandalf and 4x Traveled Leader is probably the best way, but given you want an Elf deck I would suggest (in expanded) packing a ranger Elf like Glorfindel, Eldarin Lord or ranger versions of Arwen with Pathfinder or Well-Traveled, or Get On And Get Away (which is R-rated in expanded); or (in standard) with Uruviel, Woodland Maid.

I would also suggest that Sword of the Fallen is much better than Blade of Lindon, but site path control does also support the blades.

I would also consider using Nocked which is a decent wounding card which will help Queen of Elves and Men.

And I think I would use Galadriel, Bearer of Wisdom mainly because your strength pumps will work on her.

kool.

I think i will make it a forest and rivers deck, I just need forests and rivers. Glorfindel sounds cool,
and I like Uruviel. . .

I'll probably keep the lindons if I throw in some river's and forests.

And, yes, I will most likely get rid of Inside A song, once I expand on this deck a little bit.

Thank you for the advice,

Elendil!Urukfear.
