Hum... I don’t see it that way. You draw a card, and reanimate the card you discarded (it doesn’t have to be the same one). But yes, if you draw what you want reanimated, it’s not a lot of card ...

In MTG, you can toss your opening hand back in the deck and draw a new one, with on less card. In early tournaments in LotR, I know we could toss an opening hand back and draw a new one, with 6 cards ...
