That’s what one-drops means, yes. You’re playing an aggro deck, you should curve out at four mana, tops. No need for adding mana quickly. Specially because the idea is to play a few good creatures...

The Kithkin precon gives you a good base to start building on. Plus, Stalking Vengeance rotates alongside the whole Ravnica Block on the 20th, so you wouldn’t be able to play even some FNMs for fun....
