Um...yeah. Pippin can fight the Balrog, Terror of Flame and Shadow, and then cancel the skirmish. Or take the three wounds the balrog dishes out.

Yeah, I see your point, but it sounds kinda weird. Maybe just go with the hunter or the strength. Strength would probably be better.
