Much Needed Rest is oftentimes without a viable target, and would be much better serving should the deck carry the High King of Gondor version of Elendil and not the Tall. Even if you have one target...

Equip FOTW on him, and you can't give him another weapon. The "cannot bear other weapons" overrides any positive applicable text (such as Knife of the Galadhrim).

Fortifications are conditions, therefore they are not bound by the same class restrictions as possessions or artifacts. By that definition, a minion can bear any number of fortifications at once.
