The old sauron rocked with besiegers.. calc with 1-2 burdens 3-4 threats and 3-4 sites and he is 18-7-3(ithil stone)=8(!! that is cheap, only elves and kniggets that kill that, noble leaders can usual...

The deck is usually running to site 9 rather then corrupting(but its very much possible)

About the shadow, its totally useless against a deck with elendil. (so you know.)
