You do realise its incredibly hard to have ardor in the shadow phase. You need to kill somebody in the shadow... Unless you move again the first guy is not worth much. My new gothmog will give u ardor that early but thats it.
Ill change the second guy slightly. Im not making him 9, as for 8 you can get a 20, 4 siege troop. |

Invader.
To play spot an minion. If the Shadow has ardor, this minion is twilight cost -1 for each card in the dead pile.
Skirmish: Exert this minion twice and discard 2 cards from hand, (or 1 card if the fellowship is balanced) to make it strength +6.

I think I’d remove the brackets making him less OP and also more streamlined. Interesting though.

To play spot an card in your support area.
When you play this minion, you may discard X cards from play to make it twilight cost -X.
While the fellowship is balanced, this minion is strength + 3 and fierce.
"..from the host of Mordor there went up a jeering yell."

I think I’d prefer if this guy said unbalanced, as he could kill 2 companions without too much difficulty (being the main difference between him and the Siege Troop).

Almost want to say OP... but since it requires the discarding of 2 cards... but still, 25 strength... Lower the vitality by 1.

Not bad, but would it be at all possible to tone these down a little? They’ve got beastly strength and twilight costs... they’d be better toned down. Doesn’t mean you have to... but still. |

Sorry Thran but not a chance. Thats the concept for balance. I want to make it so the freeps doesnt chicken out and always used less than 6 comps. You will get punished more for an unbalanced fellowship overall as having too many companions can get out of control. But nowadays the rule of 5 is so enforced i got sick of it so im breaking the mould. If you want to be a <6 pansy, this guy is going to teach you a lesson!

This guy isnt being an invader. I was making too many invader so im allowing him to be more generic. Also he has a rarity. When you reviewed him he said U.
Ok generally toned em down. I see your points.
Im moving on, if anyone still thinks theyre too beasty let me know and ill do something else. |
