It’s either supposed to represent the stress placed on Frodo and Sam worrying about the rest of the companions or vice-versa. Any way, the logic for would be one of these two:
Frodo & Sam are worried about the Company, which is getting beaten up by Isengard
Or
The Company is getting beaten up by Isengard, which stresses them out even more over Frodo & Sam.
The title indicates the distance separating the two groups, and the fact that they have no idea what’s happening to the other group.
...That’s the best I can figure, anyway. |
