AP’s  run/[orc] corruption
vs.
mm’s run/ battlegrounds.
i won the bid and he went first. he basically ran me over and made it to site 6 in no time. the only wounds he had were from the toil on no pauses no spills. meanwhile, i was at site 3 with no companions who didn’t have at least 1 wound, and a small pile of burdens. finally i pulled a vanguard and killed radagast and dain at site 8 causing him to stop. then i tried to set myself up for a shadow kill at site 9 against gimli and durin, but he choked the pool so that i couldn’t play another vanguard, and i lost because of dwarf armor. otherwise he would have been overwhelmed.

AP’s run/  corruption
vs.
My Cycling/ Gothmog Bomb
we both made it to region 2 with minimal damage. His Orcs had trouble, and didn’t do so well against my dwarves. my besiegers had a slow start, playing about one minion per site until 4 or 5, but played a good number of conditions and controlling 2 sites. finally, i got a solid pair of minions out, gothmog and trooper i think. and i took 2 sites. then, at site 7 i unloaded 5 minions to his 3 dwarves and radagast. they were all very strong and i took another site but i misread two of my smaller minions, and ended up only killing 3 companions when i could have killed the ring-bearer. i’ll never make that mistake again. so he was left with durin and gimli with a small mountain of burdens. i was about to unload at the next site when his SdA sever stopped. so, he said we’d call it my win since he was basically dead. a very good game, and i recommend besiegers to anyone who wants a fun game.

Game Results
NK’s Noble Leaders with Warg Wounders
vs.
AP’s Noble Leaders with  Archery
We both bid 1 and he won the toss and sent me into the battlefield first. I played the Prancing Pony (Which Helped us Both) and Pulled Aragorn, Thorongil into play. Played Anduril, Sword That was Broken and the Scroll of Isildur and wasoff to site 2. The played Mouth of Sauron and stated setting up his shadow quickly, as always. I assigned the Mouth to Gorn and won discarded the Pursueing Hordes he played on gorn and stayed.
His first turn he too played Gorn, Thorongil, Elendil and some conditions and was off to join me at 2. I dropped a pair of wargs with riders and during this skirmishes exerted to wound and managed to kill Elendil and Gorn both at site 2. He Stayed.
At site 3 I used the old Denethor at the sanctuary trick and played Noble Leaders Faramir’s Bow, Gorn’s Bow, and Elendil and was off to site 4. He unloaded on me by playing the banks whick gave him 2 extra archer thanks to my playing of Elendil. In total I had to eat 14 arrows on 3 comps. So Denethor, Faramir and Elendil all bit the dust. I Stayed.
At site 3 he did the same Denethor trick and moved on to site 4 where I dropped some more of my exert to wound orcs on wargs. He emptied his Noble leaders to keep Faramir from death, but in denethor’s skirmish he lost and I exerted my orc twice to wound Faramir which he cancelled with Sapling of the White tree. In the fierce skirmish I killed Denethor and with the 2 other exertion Faramir fell as well making his deck a solo Boromir Bearer.
Site 5 was a little odd seeing we both had little to do with only 1 comp for him left and a Boromir and Gorn left for me. We just exchange what little we could with the small twilight pools and stayed.
At site 6 he dropped a Voice of the desert and archer of harad on when putting Boromir one burden from corruption and exhausting Aragorn. I stayed. Hoping to finish off his last companion I dropped an Orc scout with a Threatening warg on him. His Boromir was 1 burden from corruption so he took 2 wounds at the start of the skirmish and with an exertion of me orc Boromir fell to the ground.
If I have gotten anything mixed up in these results AP feel free to reply with changes or you can PM me with the errors I need to fix. Very Very Honored to have beaten you and this deck  .
Great Game. As much as I hate that archery deck, I must admit that AP plays it perfectly and I feel so lucky to have finally beaten it. |

Game Result
Shieldmaiden’s Tokens w/ Corsair Swarm
vs.
my Noble Leaders w/ Archery
I won the bid, and she went first. I played Black Gate Sentry, and Linnar died. She stayed at site 2. I played a couple of Ithilien Blades and moved, won the skirmish, and stopped. She moved to site 3 and I could only play a couple of minions, so she made it into site 3 with 2 companions and 2 wounds. I played Thorongil and Anduril, then used Ithilien Blade to discard her 2 minions. At site 4, she used The Fortunes of Balin’s Folk to kill one of my minions, and she only took 1 wound in the skirmish phase. I used Denethor to play Noble Leaders, and then proceeded to use Defenses Long Held + Guarded City + Throne of Minas Tirith + Morannon Plains for a ton of reinforcement. I stopped at site 4. She played Durin and a few others cards and moved, giving me   . I played 4 minions. I could only give out 5 archery, which she took without much trouble. In the skirmish phase, Durin died to Mumak Rider, and Gloin was killed by Mumak Commander and Archer of Harad. Gimli survived. I killed her minions again, and then she moved to site 6, giving me . I played Mumak Commander and used Precision Targeting for 1 archery, which left her 3 burdens from corruption (and already maxed on wounds). Gimli’s text forced her to add 2 more burdens, maxing him out. She discarded 3x Run Until Found, but Gimli lost 14-13. Good game!  |

Game Result
NappyKorn’s Smeagol + Hobbit Choke w/  Wargs
vs.
my Discard w/  Discard
He used Safe Passage to choke the life out of me. Literally. I managed to play a Desperate Defense of the Ring here and there, but I could only play 1-2 minions per site. Thorin, Dwarven Axe, and Nobody Tosses a Dwarf helped me out, but we both made it to site 6 with minimal damage. He doubled moved to 8 and only took a couple of wounds, and then I followed him to 8 and he finally decked out. I got to play my first site of the game: Pelennor Flat at site 9. He had no cards in hand, and the burden left him 1 shy of corruption. I had Nelya and Tower Lieutenant on the table, and Desperate Defense of the Ring was his bane. Good game! |

Shieldmaiden’s  Hunters w/ Pumped Uruks
vs.
my Three Hunters w/ Wargs
Regions 1-2 were rather uneventful, so I will very briefy summarize. My Wargs couldn’t do a thing in region 1, and we both made it to site 3 safely. We moved through region 2 with minimal damage. She had 7 companions down, and I had 5. On the move to site 7, I played 4 Orcs and every one was mounted. She didn’t have Namarie down, so 4 fierce Orcs with A Defiled Charge loaded the pool, and then I could had some fun with Orkish Traveler. I used the Traveler’s text to kill Legolas in the final skirmish of the "first round", which left 4 mounted Orcs to face her 4 companions. Galadriel was forced to skirmish, but she was only a 5-strengh with the Ewer. I used the Traveler for a +2 pump, and I also had Orkish Rider for a +1 bonus, which made it 14-5. Good game! |

Game Result
macheteman’s Cycle + Tokens w/ Archery + Tokens
vs.
my  Rangers w/ +  Corruption
We both bid 2, but he won the toss and I went first. I played 2 more companions at site 1, and I moved into site 2 with 6 total companions. I moved fairly easily through region 1 and only took a few wounds. We both moved through region 2 with more wounds this time; I beat up on him with Porter Troll, and Mumak Commander was hurting me. I stopped at site 6 with about 8 wounds, and he stopped at 6 with 7 wounds. I had only added 6 burdens to his 10 resistance. I doubled to 8 and took several wounds. A few of my companions were exhausted. He singled to 7 and stopped. Good for him, because he would have faced 5-6 total minions at site 8 against his 4 Dwarves on the table. I moved to 9. He played Desert Wind, Mumak Commander, and Southron Murderer x2. I took 3 archery, and Wind took my 2. Commander beat Gorn, but he still lived (and a good thing, because I had 5 threats down). I used Noble Leaders to win the skirmishes of Faramir, Denethor, and Boromir; Frodo survived with 3 burdens and 3 wounds. Good game! |
