Can I just control one all-color creature? Like Horde of Notions or anything else and then control 5 basic lands?

If so, I want to build a deck around this.

Run a

Elemental deck with Harbingers, Smokebraider, and Horde of Notions.

Mana base? "Vivid" lands, and a lot of them.

EDIT: Vivids wouldn’t work for that. Crying or Very sad

But it IS an intersting idea...

Maybe just use terramorphs, or something...

Easier to run it in extended, using fetchlands to grab duals (remember, a singledual is both a plains and a swamp, for instance, so 3 duals can give you the whole Domain), and Transguild Courier.
