--- description ---
Giants that rule everything.
--- end description ---
Mana Base:
Ancient Ampitheater x 4
Vivid Crag x 4
Vivid Meadow x 4
Spinerock Knoll x 4
Mountain
Plains x 4
Creatures:
Hamletback Goliath x 4
Stinkdrinker Daredevil x 4
Sunrise Sovereign x 4
Thundercloud Shaman x 2
Giant Harbinger x 4
Brian Stoutarm
Axegrinder Giant x 4
Changeling Titan x 2
Lairwatch Giant x 3
Elvish Handservant x 4
Sorceries/Instants:
Crush Underfoot x 4
Giant’s Ire x 4
The point of the deck is to get your Stinkdrinker Daredevils out as soon as possible and then get your giants out dirt cheap. With enough Harbingers and Daredevil combos, you should be able to play a lot of dirt cheap killing machines.
Go aggro. This deck is ULTRA heavy aggro, I believe...
Giants Aggro becomes a free swing (actually, I think it still costs , correct?) for 4 to draw a card. That’s cheap. Hamletback Giant just gets HUGE, I mean HUGE!!!!!! Sac with Brian Stoutarm to do, what, 50 damage? With this guy, Crush Underfoot becomes "destroy target creature," and when he attacks with trample, it becomes "destroy target player." |

Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

Well, I won’t even bother giving criticims on this one. Giants are not competitive, as of now, they simply are not. But they ARE fun as heel to play with! Brion is SOOOO cool! |

They seem pretty competitive, look at Stinkdrinker Daredevil! He lowers the cost of their spells, then with Hamletback Goliath, you get HUGE pummeling sticks, with TRAMPLE! And then with Crush Underfoot and Brion, they have to many creatures to remove!
Sure, Wrath the board, or Damnation, but remember, Lorwyn block.
I can see how they’d get pummeled in standard, but they seem like they’d rock Lorwyn. |

Too slow. Also, Hamletback Goliath does not trample, which sucks a lot. Otherwise it’d be SO damn cool! |

Still not good enough, in a format with Eyeblight’s Ending, Weed Strangle, Crib Swap, Oblivion Ring, Lignify, Aethersnipe, etc. Brion is cool, though, best damn giant in the set! I’ve been experimenting him on my Not-Boros-Anymore T2 deck, hurling away Calciderms in response to removign the last vanishing counter! Problem is the 4-dop gets too clogged. |
