You might want to try something more along these lines if you have the cards as it will be much more consistent overall:
Minions:
1x Gorgoroth Garrison
2x Gorgoroth Pillager
2x Gorgoroth Agitator
3x Gorgoroth Assassin
1x Great Hill Troll
2x Olog-Hai of Mordor
2x Siege Troop
2x Troll of Gorgoroth, Abomination of Sauron
4x Gorgoroth Keeper
1x Gorgoroth Swarm
1x Gorgoroth Berserker
Conditions
1x Encirclement
2x Great Siege Towers
1x Tower Walkway
3x Troop Tower
1x Their Marching Companies
Artifacts
2x Ithil Stone
This gives you plenty of ways to control sites and stack minions making your Troop Towers effective.
It cuts down on overall deck size and the Ithil Stones allow you to have much better card flow through than you normally would. Additionally, the Ithil Stones allow you too play minions cheaper than you normally would which can mean the difference between getting out the last minion to overwelm frodo and not.
The Gorgoroth Assassins are there to tie up the strongest companions in the assignment phase leaving your big minions to smack around the weaker companions.
Granted, this is pretty rare intensive, but it is a lot of fun to play. |

| Thanks! I forgot one of the best cards out there for Sauron... Grond, Hammer of the underworld. I might include one to two of those just so that I can ditch freeps cards that might be giving me problems. It would take the deck to 32 or 33 cards per side, which is a bit big, but oh well. At that point, I might axe encirclement as it is hard to use properly and a Great Siege towers to take it back down in size. |

Grond is definitely one of the best  cards out there. I despise playing against it, because it’ll often leave my companons without their toys.  |
