So, I’ve been trying to find boosters (by the box) for Hunters and Rise of Saruman and other than one website selling for $140/box, is there anyone else out there? I’m willing to pay for boxes, just not that much.
I’ve found Treachery and Deceit, but haven’t picked any up yet.
Are they really all gone? I’m kicking myself for missing out on these. Its going to be like trying to get Tatooine, Coruscant and Theed Palace again. Doh!
I’d also be interested in buying sets of commons/uncommons from Hunters, Rise of Saruman and Treachery and Deceit.

I’m pretty sure I’ve got an extra playset of both Hunters and T&D C/UC I could sell, also playsets of RoS starter cards if you’re interested in those - make me an offer bud! |
When we do it in Iraq, it's called progress. When we do it here in the US, it's called socialism.

If you’ve got Hunters U/C’s covered, would picking up a Hunters starter box work? Hill’s Wholesale Gaming is selling them for $72. |

As long as you can still find sealed Alpha products from Magic, you can always find another card game’s products. That’s my theory, anyways. |

T&D is still not hard to find.
ROS Starters are still out there fairly often but boosters are scarce.
Hunters boosters? Forget about it. They are long gone. Every so often they will pop up on ebay but they are always pricey. Last time I saw Hunters on ebay it was an open box of 30 boosters and eight starters. The auction finished over $230.
I was forchunate enough to have bought some Hunters but not nearly enough.
It’s too bad. Hunters is a great set.
We proxy a lot when we play casual. |

Try dacardworld.com. Very good prices. I have bought at least a couple of hundred $$ worth from them. very reliable. |

I’ve bought them in the past, but they don’t have Hunters or RoS. Thanks for the idea though.
I ordered some T&D for $72/box and a couple of boxes of Hunters starters for $72/box. Bad way to get cards, but better than not at all.
On the plus side, I played a sealed event at Gen Con two years ago and got a complete set of Hunters Legends foils as a prize. That’s 18 rares down....and too many to go.

Some of the Gen Con tournaments were really good for prizes and some not. That was by far the best. If I recall, we also got several packs.
Other fun stuff about that tournament, now that I think about it...
1) I got the Aragorn starter. In one of my packs, I should have got the rare Aragorn, but got the starter one since that was screwed up.
2) I was 1-3 that day. I lost my first three games to a guy and then his two kids. Whopped by a whole family...embarassing for a player that had a sealed rating of about 1850 at the time.
3) I almost ended up running the tournament since the TD was running, not 1, but 2 heats of Worlds. Obviously, not that many people there that day. (The end was in sight then...)
