I’ve noticed that the aquarium stones tend to be a bit bigger than the stones you get in a deluxe starter or the chessex stones. That can make it a bit difficult to get 10 to 14 burdens on Frodo, but I use the Aquarium stones none the less.

10 to 14 burdens???
I’m scared of playing against you. Wink

Open with Turbo Corruption. The only way to play. When people catch on with how to beat that, switch to discard/initiative orcs/Sauron Corruption. Watch the deck disappear quickly or the burdens start to fly... What fun!

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Usually the deck revolves around Dwarves on the Free People’s side outfitted with Dwarven axe and Nobody tosses a Dwarf paired with a Sauron Corruption/Discard deck. A basic shadow deck looks something like this:

4x Desperate Defense of the Ring
1x Thin and Stretched
3x Tower of Barad-Dur
1x The Irresistible Shadow
2x Dead Marshes
4x Orc Chaser
3x Orc Pursuer
3x Orc Stalker
2x Grishnakh, Orc Captain
3x Orc Butcher
3x Orc Inquisitor
2x Orc Officer
2x Enduring Evil

You either wind up discarding your hand, giving me initiative, cheap orcs and the potential for an easy overwhelm with an Orc Officer on the table or adding burdens like crazy which makes Enduring Evil quite effective. Only down side is mass condition removal, which is why there are a couple of Dead Marshes. I have won with the alternate win condition on The Irresistible Shadow once or twice, which is quite fun. More fun is overwhelming a ringbearer with a 6 strength orc and 2 Enduring Evil with 10 burdens... -20 strength for you! This is especially fun vs Alternate Ring bearers Twisted Evil
