You are right, Gondor doesn't have any burden removal. |
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking. |

aragorn driven by need says "spot three threats, aragorn is strength plus one for each threat." does it mean that there can be more than four threats in there, or does it mean that is has to be four threats exactly? does the same principle apply to sauthron captain?

Aragorn Driven By Need says:
"While you cannot spot 4 threats, Aragorn is strength +1 for each threat."
That means that while there are 3 or less threats, he gets a strength bonus, but while there are 4 or more threats, he's gets no bonus. So, the maximum strength bonus he can get is 3.
Southron Captain says:
"While you can spot 4 threats, this minion is damage +2."
So, if there are 4 or more threats, he gets the damage bonus (because even if there are 5+ threats, you can spot 4 of them to get the bonus).
Hope that helps. |

thanks, that helps!
one more question. why is Aragorn not strength 11? because there are 4 threats not just three and if he is strength +1 for each threat wouldn't that mean he would be strength 11? if you can explain why he isn't that would be great! but if you can't that is ok.

Take another look at the card text:
"While you cannot spot 4 threats, Aragorn is strength +1 for each threat."
So the first question is, "can I spot 4 threats?" If NO, then Aragorn is strength +1 for each threat. He could range from 7 to 10 strength depending on how many threats there are.
If you CAN spot 4 threats, then the text does not apply at all, and Aragorn's strength is only 7. |
