You can’t burden the Ring-bearer and corrupt him too. |

AP, maybe it should be "You can’t corrupt the Ring-bearer and kill him too."
That one would make sense. ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

I used to play Magic, and when I would play control decks anytime my opponent did something I would say "sure", or "that’s in there", and I’ll let that go"...and I find myself doing the same thing when playing LOTR, even though there aren;t any counterspells in LOTR... |

Although I’m sure I’d understand if I played M:TG. |

Right, that would help. a control deck is a deck with a lot of counterspells and cards that disrupt your opponent. So you always want to make your opponent think you have a counterspell. So, my opponent would go to play a spell, and I would go to play a card in response, and then think about it for a minute, and then say " no, that dosen’t matter It can stay" and stuff like that. Just to let them know that I could stop them if I wanted to, but I don’t. It makes no sense to say stuff like that in LOTR, but I sometimes do it anyways if I am not paying attention... |
