Dream Cards are awesome. Making a new card and test playing it is even better. I’ll do cards of any culture, any sort.

Here’s my first example:

(1)·Vigor and Rage Dwarven

Condition·Support Area

Each time the fellowship moves, you may spot 3 unwounded companions to remove a threat.
Maneuver: Spot 2 Dwarves and add 2 threats to wound 2 minions. Discard this condition.

I’ll keep up with the requests as much as I can and notify you all when I’ll be gone. Smile

(3)·The Fall of the Dark Tower Gandalf

Condition·Support Area

Each time Gandalf wins a skirmish, you may add 2 to remove a threat.
Response: If a minion with an original strength of 9 or more was killed in a skirmish, you may discard a shadow possession or shadow condition. Discard this condition.

To play, spot an Orc minion.
Other cards cannot add Orc tokens here.
Each time a companion is placed in the dead pile, add a Orc token here.

Yah, but you do have to get a companion in the dead pile for it to do anything. And yes, Pallando is a denizen against this. Twisted Evil

(2)·Reclaimed City Gondor

Condition·Site

To play spot 2 Gondor Men.
Plays on a site in the fellowship’s current region.
Each Gondor companion at this site is strength +X and damage +X, where X is the number of these companions you can spot: Aragorn, Denethor, Faramir.
When the fellowship moves from this site, add 2 burdens.

(2) Strawberries and Cream Shire

Event·Fellowship or Skirmish

Spot X Shire companions to heal a Shire companion X times.

(3)·It is Time, Frodo Gandalf

Condition

To play, spot Gandalf. Bearer must be Frodo.
Fellowship: Spot Merry and Pippin and exert Frodo to remove a threat.
Skirmish: Exert Frodo twice and add a threat to make Gandalf or Sam strength +4.
Regroup: Discard this condition and place a companion in the dead pile to remove 3 burdens.

Ooh, that’s an interesting card! I’ve never seen anything played on a site before...(BTW, "plays on a site" isn’t needed, since you already have "Condition•Site" in the card)

That would’ve been a great Bloodlines card.

Pummeling blow is one of the first to do it - it’s in hunters. And theres also a rohan card from ROTK - I believe that one was the first condition to be played on a site.

The reason why I put that in there was to restrict the Free peoples player from putting it in the region ahead of them. So if they were on site 3 or site 6, they couldn’t put it on site 4 or 7, just after they healed.

Actually, there were Shadow cards that played on a site: Saruman’s Frost, Saruman’s Chill, Saruman’s Snows...I’d never noticed Free Peoples cards that did it. A cool card. I love the downside, too.

That was my first thought exactly. However, it’s not a card that’s on your field or support area, it’s on the adventure path. That would mean that it’s active regardless of who played it, or at least, I think that’s what Carpe was frgetting at. Check with a DGMA judge on Decipher’s message boards. They were the guys who solved the controversy between Gollum, Hopeless and Frodo, Weary from the Journey. Cool
