I love the Gandalf bow theme!

What do you mean, "this possession has no transfer cost"? Do you mean, "you may transfer this possession to another companion at no twilight cost"? That would be waaay overpowered. Picture Merry with Escape, Ent Draught, and Pippin with Escape, Ent Draught. I think that’s ten archery wounds right there. Ouch!

Yeah, since during the fellowship phase you can transfer possessions and artifacts at their twilight cost. So it doesn’t have a transfer cost, but you can only transfer during the fellowship phase.

I’ll do a couple more.

(2)•Saruman’s Bow[Isengard]
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Strength: +1
Bearer must be Saruman.
Archery: Exert Saruman to make the fellowship archery total -2.

(2)Isengard Arrows[Isengard]
Possession
Bearer must be an archer.
Archery: Discard this possession to wound an archer.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to exert a character that bearer is skirmishing.
Regroup: Discard this possession and remove 5 twilight to take an Isengard archer from play into hand.
Discard this possession at the end of this turn.

Oh, wow...I must have missed that. So you can actually use companions as placeholders, then.

TT right this thread i like the arrows concept but not the wizard bow one.

Hey everybody! I’m in the mood for making some bows and arrows.

(2)•Arwen’s Bow[Elf]
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be Arwen.
She is an archer.
While she bears a hand weapon, she is damage +1.
While Arwen is at a sactuary, each minion skirmishing her is strength -1.

(2)•Elrond’s Bow[Elf]
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be Elrond.
He is an archer.
While you can spot four elves(or three Elven archers), the fellowship archery total is +1.

(2)•Arrows of the Eldar[Elf]
Possession
Bearer must be an archer.
Archery: Discard this possession to make the fellowship archery total +1.
Assignment: Discard this possession to send a minion with a twilight cost of two or less back to his or her owner’s hand.
Skirmish: Discard this possession to exert a minion.
Regroup: Discard this possession to discard an exhausted minion.
Discard this possession at the end of this turn.

(2)Goblin Arrows[Moria]
Possession
Bearer must be a Moria archer.
Shadow: Discard this possession and exert bearer to add a threat.
Archery: Discard this possession to exert an elf.
Discard this possession at the end of this turn.

heres my favorite:

2 Troll Crossbow Orc
Posession•Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be an Orc Troll.
Strength +1
Archery: Exert bearer twice and discard an Orc minion from play (or 2 from hand) to make the minion archery total +X where X is the number of Orc Trolls you can spot.

i like arwen’s and elronds but they seem a little overpowered.humm I would get rid of the bearer is archer on all your arrows and just keep the second ability

make yours twilight cost 2 or 3 PT

The arrows don’t make them an archer. They have to be borne by an archer. Got any advice on how to make Elrond’s and Arwen’s bow not be so overpowering? Should I increase the twilight cost on both of them?

Bearer must be an elf.
Bearer is an archer.
You may heal bearer each time the fellowship moves from a sanctuary.

(2)•Bow of the Kings[Gondor]

Archery: Exert bearer to make the fellowship archery total +1.
Skirmish: Exert bearer to exert a minion that is assigned to a Gondor man.

(2)Rohan Arrows[Rohan]
Possession
Bearer must be a Rohan man.
Archery: Exert bearer and discard this possession to wound a minion.
Skirmish: While bearer is at a plains site, you may discard this possession to wound a minion bearer is skirmishing.
Discard this possession at the end of this turn.
