I really dont think Durin III, Dwarven Lord was broken or overpowered at all. I mean, look at cirdan, the shipwright, he has the ability to make a minion strength -15 just by exerting himself. If you ask me, cirdan is more broken than Durin. Also, you have to take into account that the dwarves dont have many strong companions for standard play. They have gloin, son of groin, linnar, dwarven lord, sindri, dwarven lord (and even he sucks unless played with loyalty unshaken or preparations) Gimli, Bearer of Grudges and Dain Ironfoot, King under the mountain. And thats pretty much it. The elves, for instance, have elladan, ellrohir, arwen, elrond, cirdan, galadriel, haldir (even though hes not exceptionally good) and glorfindel (and thats only some of them). Im just saying that if they dont just reprint the old durin, the dwarves will once again suck. |

Durin III is one of my most favorite characters. I love the card you made, PT. I’d make a deck just because of it.
Here’s one of mine:
(4)•Durin III, Lord of Dwarves[Dwarf]
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 8
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Damage +1
While Durin III is in your starting fellowship, his twilight cost is -2.
While Durin III bears a hand weapon, each dwarf is strength +2(or strength +3 if Durin III bears two hand weapons).
MUWAHAHAHAHA.......hahahahahahahahaha........hahaha.....ha. I think I’ll make another one later. And yes, I know that the title is cheesy, but I like it.

*Durin III, Ringbearer
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 6
Companion * Dwarf
Damage +1. To play, spot 2 Companions.
Durin III is strength +1 for each possession in your support area.
At the start of your fellowship phase, you may play a artifact from your draw deck.
It’s good IMHO... |

If you want it to spot stacked possessions, I think you’ll have to say ’Durin III is strength +1 for each possession stacked on a condition’, because I believe that stacked cards cannot normally be spotted (unless specified specifically in a card’s game text). |

I guess that wasn’t entirely what I was getting at, I was also hoping for more cards like Horn of Helm and such to come along, and he would gain strength bonuses from that. But I actually like the possessions stacked on conditions idea better. Thanks AC. |

Dang, that’s awesome. I’d use him! |
