Why not just say "...remove " and "...add ?"

Cool weapon, although here’s how you should word the d+1 part, because possessions having damage +1 won’t help: "Bearer is damage +1."

One thing: shouldn’t the second one be "Each time bearer loses a skirmish, add ." ? Otherwise, it’s like saying, "Each time bearer skirmishes, remove ", which is pretty overpowered. |

Thanks! I didn’t spot that damage +1 thing. And yes, I like overpowerdedness! It is a little too overpowered, though. I think I’ll raise its twilight by one.

heres my version of it:

 •Axe of Balin

Posession•Hand Weapon

Strength +3

Bearer must be a Dwarf.

Skirmish: Exert bearer to make another Dwarf strength +1 (or +2 and damage +1 if you spot more minions than companions). |

 Toil 1
Bearer must be a Dwarf.

While at an underground site, bearer is Damage +1.

Seems underpowered. Maybe if you dropped Toil, and decreased the twilight cost by 1. |

Each time bearer loses a skirmish, you may remove one twilight. Or, how about "Each time a skirmish is resolved involving bearer, you may remove ?

Condition • Support Area

Toil 2. To play, spot a Dwarf.

Each time the fellowship moves to an underground site, you may add to play a possession from your draw deck.

Response: If a shadow player plays a site, you may discard this condition to replace that site with your underground site.

  Aye!

Event • Maneuver

Heal a Dwarf for each companion of another culture you can spot.

I can live with that... |

| I’m likin’ those cards! The first one reminds me of Dark Places, with its dual effect, and the event is really good-I love the Three Hunters possibilities... |
