Gigantic X (The Free Peoples player may assign up to X companions to skirmish this minion.)

So:

[22] Mumak Line-breaker

Minion • Mumak

Strength-35

Vitality-5

Roaming-4

Gigantic 3. To play, spot 3 cards.

Each time this minion wins a skirmish, you may discard a possession.

And, to combat this:

Frenzied +X: (This companion is strength +X while skirmishing a gigantic minion.)

So:

  •Eomer, Riding Headlong

Companion • Man

Strength-7

Vitality-3

Resistance-7

Frenzied +8. Valiant. While you can spot a Man, Eomer’s twilight cost is -1.

Skirmish: Exert Eomer or discard a ranged weapon he bears to wound a gigantic minion.

At this point, I’m thinking that I’ve got things a bit too extreme. I figure the scale of the mumak’s strength and frenzied’s bonus needs to get toned down, but the idea’s pretty neat! |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

| It’s a cool idea, but you’re right when you say these are extreme. The Mumak is unplayable, and more powerful than Sauron. Tone them down a bit. |

But my thing is, how about the freeps player MUST assign X companions to that minion, and the minion is unplayable if there are not X companions in addition to the ring-bearer present. Otherwise, you spend 22 twilight to have Dwarf Guard sacrificed and no real damage is done. |

Or...the Freeps player just uses Durin III, Dwarven Lord + any 2 strong dwarves against the Mumak, and it’s toast. And there shouldn’t be any other minions, given that + twilight’s getting burned. |
