The troll engine is a swarming Troll deck that uses Troll’s Keyward, Keeper of the Beast ?
In this case, it is necessary use a fellowship that let you take cards from the draw deck to have all the trolls and the Troll’s Keyward, Keeper of the Beast in hand |

I don’t think he’s talking about troll swarm...but here’s an article by Gagnut detailing a troll swarm:

"Engine" usually refers to a strategy that uses tokens or something to pump up a companion’s strength, just like the Gloin, Son of Groin token engine that is mentioned in that article. |
