Realisticly speaking, how can they see? This is in the depths of moria, come on, your guys are hacked to pieces. And a hidden knife??? he would have had it taken from him.

Gognut was drawing his forces deeper into moria, into the dark so deep that even goblins could barely see. He was moving around and making sure the goblins were going deeper, his forces stumbled on some hibernating cave trolls and added them to the rest of their herd, what is a group of trolls called? He had found out about the prisioner and decided to see the scum die, but when he got to the torture chamber, there were only a few dead goblins lying in their own blood.
He was furious that they had excaped "How could it have left" he bellowed, he kicked the carcase of the former torturer, "Apparently you were incompetant for the task of torture".

Corvus walked through the great passage thinking:

"Who could he be? I have never seen a man cursed with immortality before. What is that strange precense inside him? Could it be a stranded spirit of old? Could it be a spirit that forgot its purpose? He did not attack me, he just left. Maybe i can trust him for... NO! I must do this alone. No one can help me. It is my own burden. Mine alone!"

As he proceeded towards the camp, he heard faint voices, cries of war! He left the man well hidden behind an indent in a wall, and the strange blade with him. "Alright, let us show those abominations how to slash", he murmured. With his words, he drew his sword and his dagger. He launched into the battle with a mighty cry. The goblins fled at his precense, as his blades hacked through their ranks. The dwarves packed quite some punches, each bearing one or two axes. The men also fought extensively well.

Whilst Corvus smashed through as many of the goblins as possible, he thought of finding a good ally or two in case he got tired. As he looked around, a goblin at his size yelled and charged at him. The curved scimitar struck on the leather armor, but the hit was coiled. The avenger sliced through the goblins metallic armor with a mighty swath. At the point of the enemy’s falling, Corvus saw Lyon, both blades drawn, slashing through the weak enemies. The elven ranger marched towards his companion, parrying a few scimitar blows. "Good to see you got here safe" said Corvus. "Let’s have some fun".

But before he finished his words, a strong howl surprised him. "NOOOOOO". At that time, a man fell on the ground with a loud sound. It was the man he saw before! The man’s body fell as stone, quickly revealing a small band of goblin bowmen. Just at the image of the man getting shot, Corvus let out so mighty a yell that the goblins backed up for a meter ot two. He then jumped on the goblin shooters, slaying most of their squad, while the rest fled, leaving their weapons behind with a scream of agony.

Corvus then looked around. The field was taken. The Naugrim slew the last of the goblins and half-trolls with great passion, while the rest of the enemy forces fled. He then walked to where he had left the ranger. The man seemed to be slowly opening his eyes and trying to move....

(my post begins about a page ago and catches up)

While all this action had been going on Tuilin had been sleeping. When he woke up he checked around and found the Durail and Lyon were gone still he set out with a small party. Their party soon ran smack into the advancing goblin army. Literally. From his spot on the ground Tuilin fired an arrow into the lead goblin. Retreat he yelled and his group ran back to the palisade arrows greeted the goblins and Tuilin and his group made it inside. The dwarves charged out eager to fight. Tuilin caught his breath for a second and then charged out as well sword drawn.
The battle lasted for a while before he saw Lyon and an unfamiliar elf join in Tuilin started fighting his way to Lyon but got blocked by a cave troll. He sidestepped the hammer and slashed at its leg. The cave troll hit him with its hand. He went flying he hit a pillar but didn’t think he broke anything pulling out his bow he started firing at the troll. Then still firing he dashed under it and fired up. The troll swung its hammer around but only hit dwarves. Tuilin pulled out his sword and cut both its hamstrings. The troll crumpled and he finished it off. The forces were fleeing. It had been a victory but Tuilin though they probably had a lot more soldiers waiting.
He couldn’t see Lyon so he started to help the medics care for the wounded. “there will be a lot of work to do after this battle. The palisade needs reconstruction in places, the dead need to be buried and the wounded cared for.” Tuilin heard a Man say. There forces were starting to shrink but Tuilin could feel that victory was near!

Durail’s eyes were fluttering open. pain was coursing thorugh his body, but that didn’t bother him. memories... something strange was haunting him something like from a dream... Durial started humming an elvish healing tune. Wounds started to sting, but that didn’t matter, they were healing. after several long moments, Durail became aware of something watching him. just around the corner, it wasn’t evil, it was an elf!

"Lyon?" Durail called, no answer. Durail tryed to stand. it hurt to much. what he needed was his ranger fluid. that would help restore him. The figure stepped forward. it was an elf alright, but not Lyon! a flash back through Durail’s mind. he had seen this elf, sometime when he roamed the wild by himself. when he was the black flame.

Corvus stood before the wounded man and said:
"My name is not Lyon, altough i am well familiar with him. I am Corvus, a ranger of the North, such as yourself. I have been sent by Lord Elrond of Rivendell to aid you, for you will find both toil and great fear, and maybe even worse."

With those words, Corvus came closer to the ranger, and putting his arm under the man’s bleeding shoulder he said: "Now let my kinsmen healers mend your wounds. You need to rest." Taking the sword lying near the place where Durail was resting, the elf said: "This blade i was given to hand thee by a man now fallen. I shall show you where he is, it’s in our way."

The man did not seem to greatly suffer by his wounds, or at least did not seem to. The two walked all the way to where the strange man had fallen, but his body wasn’t there! "Of cource, i should have known" thought Corvus to himself. Looking at the wounded man, Corvus explained: "Perhaps he was just too wounded to carry on the battle. Two arrows pierced him across the chest. Maybe now he is healing. Let us carry on." And so they did, as they approached the tents of the healers.

Tuilin saw a strange elf come into the healing tent with Durail. He could see that Durail was badly injured so he decided to give him time before pressing the questions that he desperately wanted to ask. Lyon was being healed and Tuilin was helping heal people so the 3 main leaders where all there.
Once Durail has a little time to rest we need a coucil of war. though Tuilin.

Ithildon had not been in the fight. He was still recovering. (duh, who wouldn’t. I mean seriously , an arrow in the back.(not always a flesh wound)). But now, after long rest, and good healing, he felt like he was ready to fight. He now went toward Durail’s tent and heard the voice of a strange elf. Then he saw Tuilin moving toward’s the tent, and knew that some meeting was about to start. Probably just the most important people, Tuilin, Durail, and Lyon. And probably that strange elf dude. Ithildon went back and encouraged the dwarves for their courage in the fight last evening.

Corvus let the elven healers take care of the exhausted ranger. There he saw Lyon, his friend of old recovering from his light wounds, and noded him the old way, the "ancient way" as some called it, which was a light bow of the head for about 2 seconds. He greated the healers as well with a deep smile, and stepped towards a bystanding man who helped with the healers’ work. "Hail to you Dunadan. May i know who is in charge of your noble group?"

Durial was sitting up. His wounds were msotly healed (thanks to the elven healers) He saw ithildon approach the tent, then walk away.

"Ithildon, will you please gather the commanders and have them come in. will you also get Corvus, and Berathor. then you come in. we need to talk."

Soon everyone had gathered.

"Tuilin," Durail started. "You have the floor."
