Evening everybody. This is a deck I’m planning on putting together and I thought I’d run it by you guys to see what you think. Sam is my favourite LOTR character and I want to make a deck to do him justice.
Total: 32
Frodo, Protected by Many
The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Merry, Loyal Companion
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver
Gandalf, Leader of the Company x4
Pallando, Far Travelling One
Sting, Weapon of Heritage
Glamdring, Foe Hammer
Shadowfax, Unequalled Stead
Hobbit Sword x3
G for Grand x4
A Promise x4
Everyone Knows x4
Escape x2
Sworn Companion x4
Strat: Hobbit beatdown! Predominantly conditions and possessions that can be played quickly but Pippin protects at early sites. Gandalf and G for Grand add to the strength of the hobbit conditions. Every companion can get pretty strong and just endure anything that can be bigger than them. I’ve got some burden removal with Sting, WoH and Glamdring, F and a bit of condition discarding with Pallando but I’m wondering if I need some healing to keep Everyone Knows going against wounding shadows. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks. |

check out my new noble leaders thing i’m building lol.
anyway spamming over, this looks really nice, but have you thought of using 4x Sudden Fury instead of the sworn companion’s? becuase everytime your hobbits lose, you can then add at least +1 from each one, and it’ll stay in. |

And if you use Sudden Fury, use Fates Entwined. It also keeps your hobbits full for everyone knows. Little Golden Flower is also a great card fro this kind of deck. Since you’re running G for Grand I won’t suggest using the followers.
You can probably dump Shadowfax, and the sworn companions are good things to drop too, if you put those cards in. If you must have events in, use Hope Is Kindled to stop corruption decks and make sure burdens stay off. |
