Wow, I just noticed a combo. Dol Guldir with an Enduring Shelob. Gollum culture’s threats and shelob’s immense vitality... that could be one cruel site!
EDIT: Oh, that’s regroup. But still, not a half bad deal. |

New Thorin!
http://lotrtcg.fanhq.com/TCG/Card.aspx?gameID=7&cardID=6641
And in case I55 wants the game text ( ):
•Thorin III, Stonehelm
Companion • Dwarf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Damage +1.
Each time a minion loses a skirmish involving Thorin III, its owner discards the top card from his or her draw deck.
Veteran warrior and keen leader, Stonehelm drove the enemy from the land of Dale.

Heh, no problem. I enjoy doing it.
Yeah, he’s not the companion-to-end-all-companions, but he’s a nice Dwarf to use in a discarding deck. Give him a Dwarven Axe, and he’s great. |

He must be the "unusual companion" Brad said we’d see.
I like him! A definite asset to Dwarven discarding. |

Disgusting tie-in with "Where is the Horse?". Although, given who Aragorn was, and who he called out his allegiance for during the battle of the Hornburg ("Anduril for the Dunedain!", in reply to Eomer’s call of "Guthwine, Guthwine for the Mark!"), this version seems quite strange. But in any case, it makes me wish to see what they did for Anduril, and, in almost any event, how badly they messed it up again. And it certainly makes one wish for Eomer to have a dedicated blade this time around, as well. |
