what if gimli is the ring bearer? do you exert him twice?

I would think so. Because first you exert the ring-bearer, and then you exert a dwarf. So, it seems logical that you would exert him twice. Lemme check the rulebook.

I don’t think so, because it says "The Ring-bearer and a Dwarf."

So this pump can’t be used on the Gimli RB?

The rulebook didn’t have a ruling on the card.

You can use it if you exert Gimli twice (or Gimli once and another Dwarf once)
All cards do what they say.

Yeah, I guess that is the correct interpretation of and...just like Subterranean Homestead can spot Mount Doom for 2 tokens...
