How so? I have a bias for Dwarves. (Or whatever deck I’m running at the time.)
Anyway, this card is nice, and is a resistance adding card. Stack up resistance on gandalf with the new shadowfax, and then play this guy with One Last Surprise.
And there’s finally a good use for Measure of Comfort.
So, Measure of Comfort x 4 = +4 resistance
Gwaihir = +1
Shadowfax = +1
Radagast, Tender of Beasts = +2
Not to mention, Gwaihir stays in play for a possible multiple uses off of One Last Surprise, and then gives Gandalf a strength +1 bonus for wrapping up his skirmish.
And I suspect that the Gandalf culture is going to be having some threat manipulation. |

Not what I expected from Gwaihir, but I suppose it can be decent with Gandalf’s Staff, Ash-staff. Also, you could add it to an IB deck - it adds a threat, and you get a +1 boost to strength & resistance. |

Cool card, but i was hoping for something cooler for Gwaihir and his fellow Eagles. |

Exactly my thoughts. THis guy is too good to be true for an IB deck. Moreover, come to think of it, if the elders worshiped o elbereth so much, what would they think now with such an easy strenght bonus for the ring-bearer? Not to mention his low play and aid cost... |
