I was just reading a post by Eomund over on the Aragorn, Defender of Rohan spoiler thread about how "valiant" is an essentially useless keyword, and I have to agree.  Something should be done about that.    Here are a few ideas; feel free to post your own!
 
 
  • The Red Arrow, Token of War  
 
Artifact - Support Area
 
All valiant   men are strength +1.
 
"In his hand he bore a single arrow, black-featNOLINKhered and barbed with steel, but the point was painted red."
 
 
  Gondor Calls for Aid  
 
Event - Skirmish
 
Spot a   companion and a valiant   companion to make a minion strength -4.
 
"Often the Rohirrim have aided us, but now the Lord Denethor asks for all your strength and all your speed, lest Gondor fall at last."
 
 
Helm’s Dike

When the fellowship moves to this site, heal each valiant companion. |

Valiant. 
 
While Aragorn is the Ring-Bearer, at the start of each skirmish involving him, add two burdens or exert 3 mounted companions. 
 
Each valiant man is strength +1 for each   artifact you spot (limit: +3)

I cut the Captain bonus, to make him playable now, but he had a Captain 0 bonus. (see page 1 of my thread for explanation of my twist on the captain bonus. |

I like it, but if you want me to get nitpicky, I’d require spotting a   man or something.

Not too shabby. How many   artifacts are there, though? I can only think of two.
 
 
A couple ideas from one of my sets:
 
 
  Courage  
 
Event • Skirmish
 
Spot a valiant   companion to make another companion strength +1 until the regroup phase. If both companions are still alive at the end of the regroup phase, you may return this event to your hand.
 
“‘Courage for our friends.’”
 
 
 •Théoden, Ednew  
 
Companion • Man
 
Strength: 7
 
Vitality: 3
 
Resistance: 7
 
Valiant. Damage +1.
 
While you can spot a valiant Man, Théoden’s twilight cost is -1.
 
Each time Théoden is wounded or killed, all companions that are valiant or have the Théoden signet are strength +1 (+2 if mounted) until the regroup phase.
