Pump? That would be a skirmish ability. Which this card prevents.

I think NBarden is merely pointing out that Bill Ferny has other uses besides directly attacking the Ring-bearer. (Ferny himself is a strength +4 pump, when assigned to skirmish alongside another minion.)

Oh, if that’s what he meant...but a Strength 4 minion isn’t really that big against an RB like Faramir.

yeah, but you can throw him on another companion. Like if the Balrog w/ sword and whip on Treebeard, toss Ferny on him to overwhelm. Maybe not the best example, but you get the point.

How ironic it is that the Spirit of the the White Tree is ruined by the site where the White Tree actually is.
