Hi there folks...

I read in a topic these days about some member writing about a Sauron follower...and then someone wrote that Sauron does not follow anybody...

Well, I think it’s a nice concept! The followers have to be following someone, or take part in a way of the adventure if you look at it from the FP player perspective... but although a Saruman always present sounds coherent, a Saruman "following" a minion doesn’t sound OK... i think a Gollum follower for the shadow side would be perfect...

what do you think about it? |

This probably should be put in the rise of saruman discussion thread, but oh well.

Saruman obviously follows Sauron. But I think that the concept of Followers doesn’t necessarily impy following. The Gaffer doesn’t technically "follow" in the book or movie, nor did a Hobitton Brewer. Follower seems to be the wrong term picked by D, because the followers they have released seem to imply a support character, mush like an ally from early blocks, only different (if you get what I mean). So, Saruman seems to fit nicely in the role of a "follower," the way D has been going, although they probably picked the wrong term. |

| Just for grins and giggles I thought I would correct you on the whole Sauron follower thing. Sauron did follow someone back in the Silmarillion, so yes he can be a follower. His leader was Morgoth if anyone remembers. So therefore Sauron could easily be a follower. |
