This possession does essentially the same thing as Ceremonial Armor, but has a different secondary function: instead of preventing wounds to your minions, it can give one of them a strength bonus.

Personally I like Ceremonial Armor a little better, because you can discard either the possession or a minion stacked on it to pay for that wound prevention. With Wildman’s Oath, you have to discard the possession itself; I probably wouldn’t even consider using that ability until the last site.

Still, Wildman’s Oath is a pretty good card, and as the heart and soul (along with Ceremonial Armor) of a new Evil Men decktype it will definitely see some play. I give it a 4. |

I agree with Cobra’s assessment, and his rating. 4 from me.

My question is this: I understand why they chose to make it a possession, but why THIS card? Since when is an oath a "possession"? It just doesn’t make sense. You’d think they could come up with some actual physical object for the title, you know? |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

| its ok, most possession discarders only target one possession, and since ceremonial armor is unique(citation needed:)) this one gives you that other possession for stacking. 4 from me. |

I agree with Dain, I can think of dozens of things that would make better possessions than this.

But the card’s good, it’ll work well with the Sunland guys. |

Pretty nice, non-unique. Solid 4. BTW, didn’t they already use that lore on another card? Like a card, waaaay back there... |

Burn Every Village, as SoP said. I wonder if that should be added to the Error List? |

| I wouldn’t say so, I think they have used lore in more then 1 card in other sets, + burn every village has some other lore, not just this stuff. |
