| Obviously meant to pair with Wildman’s Oath, and makes that a better card (though still a weird "possession"). I give this a 4. |

Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

| yeah works great with wildmans oath. and if you are winning, and don’t have any guys stacked on wild mans oath, you discard the oath to make your minion damage +! Great card here. |

I’m not sure what you guys mean about this card working so well with Wildman’s Oath specifically -- it works just as well with Ceremonial Armor. (Remember you can’t discard one card to pay two separate costs, so if you want the damage bonus you can’t also have strength +2 from the Oath.)

Back to In the Wild Men’s Wake:

This card seems very awkward to me. The strength bonus is potentially great but also unreliable, especially with possession-removal cards like the new Narsil, Forged by Telchar around. The damage bonus is powerful, but it’s also in conflict with everything else -- you won’t always want to discard one of those crucial support-area possessions, and you’ll almost never want to discard a possession with a ton of minions stacked on it!

That said, I do think the potential benefits of having this card at the right moment are strong enough that it will see a lot of play. And at site 9, the conflicts I mentioned above don’t matter, and you can really go nuts. |

| This is a pretty amazing card, I think. The bonuses are potentially pretty nice, I mean-1 twilight for a strength 4, strength 5 pump? Nice. I like it. |
