SWEET! The new evil man possession deck is now a SWARM DECK! This guy plays to add tons of twilight, and the FP possessions count as well. Spotting two men isn’t a problem in a swarm, and then with the old exploding lurkers...

You know, I was about to type a "good but not great" sort of review, arguing that you won’t really be spotting that many Men possessions after playing this guy and two other minions -- especially not in a swarm deck, where you should be running a ton of minions and just a few (if any) weapons.

Then I remembered (facepalm! d'oh!) that future Evil Men decks will likely be running support-area possessions, which will hang around and allow you to easily generate more twilight. Now Easterling Dispatcher is looking like a pretty great card.

THEN I realized (double facepalm! d'oh! d'oh!) that Easterling Dispatcher actually adds twilight for all possessions, not just Men possessions. Now Easterling Dispatcher is looking insanely good, perhaps even broken. Definitely a 5.

After Rise of Saruman hits, someone remind me to play Gondor... Wink

WOW!!!!

Every possession? That could easily add 10 twilight, maybe even 20 if playing against Rohan. And in multi-player, there’s a good chance that someone will be able to use the twilight.

The only bad thing is the spotting requirement, but it’s not too bad. It can’t stop me from giving this card a 5.

The spotting requirement is the only thing preventing Easterling Dispatcher from being truly broken, IMO. If this card was splashable... :shudder:

As I said before, the spotting requirement is nothing. In a swarm, if you can’t throw out two minions, you need a new deck.

too good IMO, I mean in any man deck, this is useful, ferny, gathering strength, Archery, tons of post shadow events, etc. etc. etc.

This guy kills.

RoS has too many good Men cards. I’m going to have to totally change my article for next month. *sigh*

But this card is just mean. Good in a swarm, heck, good in just about anything that uses twilight (which is pretty much everything). A 5 from me.
