Play a riddle and discard this condition to heal Bilbo (twice if you can also spot a riddle).

There were several -culture riddles, yes. So far, they’ve all been Shadow cards (Gollum cards) and not "Smeagol cards", if that’s what you mean. That may still change, though. I can see Smeagol having a couple FP riddles down the road. |

Well the first couple riddles are pretty simple, as pointed out, but it seems people like them well enough. So on we go!

[b]Geez...that should be easy. Don’t run any FP riddles. I think it should be the other way around, or add "except a riddle."

I like it, but the ability needs a phase. It’d be cool to see a riddle deck go up against a riddle Shadow side.

My thoughts exactly. You create your own little chess-like game between you and a Shadow player.
Dáin’s DC Duos #54
And here’s a couple more riddles to help with that. Here I will have a couple comments, but try to enjoy anyway!
Three Guesses
Event • Fellowship or Maneuver
Riddle. To play, spot a Ring-bound Hobbit.
If you and an opponent have at least 3 cards in your hand, that opponent must name a card type. Reveal 3 cards at random from your hand, then discard each card that is of the named type and take the rest into hand. If no cards were discarded, that opponent discards 3 cards at random from his or her hand.
“‘What have I got in my pocket?’”
Speaking of playing games inside of games, here’s a fun little card that does just that. It’s pretty unique, and I certainly think it would just be fun to use, but how useful do you think it is?
•Riddle-game

Riddle. To play, spot 2 Hobbits (or Bilbo).
Each time you play a riddle, you may remove a threat.
Maneuver: Discard this condition to play a riddle from your draw deck or discard pile.
“‘It likes riddles, praps it does, does it?’”
This is a direct counter to Riddles In The Dark, which adds threats in exactly the opposite way with riddles.
has a couple more riddles than , so we’re not done just yet. More riddles next time!
EDIT: Complete rewrite of Three Guesses. |

I like the idea, but I really dislike the mechanic of naming a card then seeing if your opponent has it. Plus, you decide when to use it, and if they don’t name a card that’s in your hand, they lose a significant to most (if not all) their cards in hand.
I’d suggest a slightly simpler version (which would make it a little easier on the Shadow player, but if you play it right you get the bonus).
Choose an opponent who names a card type. If you do, reveal 3 cards at random from your hand. Discard each card that is of the named type and take the rest into hand. If you revealed 3 cards and did not discard any cards, the chosen opponent discards 3 cards at random from his hand.
In any case, it also needs to note what happens if you do not have enough cards in hand. For example, if you have 2 of these (and no other cards), and your opponent doesn’t name "Three Guesses" the first time, you can add to discard 6 cards from your opponent’s hand (or 3 cards from 2 opponents hands)
