I like it...
How about:
’Ranged weapons that Legolas bears gain "Bearer must be Legolas."
Fellowship: If Legolas does not bear a ranged weapon, play a Free Peoples or Shadow ranged weapon from your hand on him. If it is a Shadow card, add twilight rather than removing it, and it loses its printed gametext.’
And if you need the culture references to change, that may be good as a seperate card? |

Okay, how’s this?
•Legolas, Silvan Archer
Companion • Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Archer.
Legolas may bear any ranged weapon of any culture.
If bearing a Free Peoples ranged weapon, replace any character’s name in that weapon’s game text with "Legolas" and replace any culture with .
If you play a Shadow ranged weapon on Legolas, add twilight rather than removing it; that ranged weapon loses all game text (except card type and class).
Best part is, I THINK that might actually fit on a card, too.
If it’s getting too complicated, I could always just drop the Shadow part. It would be cool to use ranged weapons like Corsair Ballista and Isengard Siege Bow, but it’s not necessary.
And again, this idea is NOT intended to actually be for Legolas. I value the storyline more than that. I’m just using him as an example. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Yes, but wouldn’t you have to transfer weapons from opponents’ minions to do that? Kinda changes the whole card.... |
