That’s not something that REALLY ties the cards together, they do not produce a sense of identity as they are given in those particular cards, specially because they’re SOOOO spaced-out between sets. Cycles tend to be found inside a given set or block, ALTHOUGH in LOTR you can consider the new versions of possessions, minions and characters as sort of a big cycle.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

NOw, this one’s a tricky one. Final Count and My Axe is Notched would not qualify as a cycle, per say. As I mentioned before, cycles are card that link/resemble each other, etc. These are actually 2 cards meant to work as one (ok, you can use them to spot tokens, but really...), so they’d not qualify as a cycle. Glad NBarden raised the topic!

OK, FELLAS! TIME FOR THE FINAL CHALLENGE OF ROUND 1! AFTER THIS ROUND, ONE OF YOU WILL BE UTTERLY ELIMINATED! I’D LIKE TO REMEMBER THAT ANY CONTESTANT THAT DIDN’T SUBMIT THE CARDS FOR THE FIRST TWO CHALLENGES CAN STILL SUBMIT THEM FOR THIS ONE. ANY CONTESTANT WITH A TOTAL OF 0 CARDS SUBMITTED AFTER THIS ROUND WILL BE EXCLUDED FORM THE CONTEST.

Ok, time for the tricky challenge of the round! There’s no total amount of cards, it’s up to you to figure out how many they’ll be. I want cycles of three cards each, but fulfilling the following criteria:
• A R+ cycle
• A rare cycle
• An uncommon cycle
• A cycle of conditions
• A tight cycle
• A loose cycle
• A multicultural cycle
• An on-culture cycle

That’s it. You have exactly 15 days. After this time elapses, submissions will be closed, and I’ll start grading the cards. After the round, the worst-rated Contestant (with cards submited) will be eliminated. I’ll post current Standings tomorrow, so if you missed any of the first 2 challenges, there’s still time...
