--- description ---
He’s big, he’s mean and he’s got some webs!?
--- end description ---
The idea of this deck is to use the generic, non-spotting requirement possesions to make your Troll of Cirith Gorgor huge (and that’s not even counting any free peoples possesions.)
Total:34
Minions:
Troll of Cirith Gorgor x4
Covetous Uruk x4
Orc Pursuer x3
Mordor Soldier x3
Gollum, Skulker
Possesions:
Web x4
Spider Poison x4
Larder x4
Events:
Captured by the Ring x4
Conditions:
Evil Smelling Fens x3
Strategy:
Play this with a well cycling free peoples, and spend the early sites playing your possesions. Then once they hit site 5, drop a troll and (if possible) some Covetous Uruk’s. With 12 possesions in the deck, plus however many they have you should have some big minions.
Gollum can add threats and bring back the trolls or an uruk, I’m using skulker as if I can play him with a troll or something without using evil-smelling fens then he can add a couple more strength, he also adds threats to make it even more damaging.
The trolls are fierce and damage+1 so even ifyou don’t overwhelm you should still be doing alot of damage to the fellowship. The other orcs are just cheap minions for the Trolls spotting requirement. |

Nice deck, this deck type is pretty tough. I see you have tons of cards dealing with Shelob, why not add Shelob, Her Ladyship with an extra Gollum or two to stop Durin III (who can kill your troll no problem.) Then you could use that Larder. |

Actually Durin III isn’t too hard to deal with, remember all his dwarf possesions add to my troll’s strength as well...still you’re right I might add a couple of Shelob, Her Ladyship, I can afford to go up to 36 cards, and she can stop other problem companions, or at worst she’s an archery soak. |

*headdesk* how did I forget that card, damage+2 troll is just cruel.
Tested with Shelob, Her Ladyship but I keep finding I don’t have enough twilight to play her and Troll (Or more than one Uruk) and so I don’t think she’s worth it.
I think I’ll take the deck upto 36 cards and add in 2 copies of let her deal with them. |

There was similar tipe of shadow, and I play something similar.
Dwarfs are worst matchup for this shadow. They don’t give much twilight, they have damage bonuses, Durin is beast, and worst Blood runs chill.
I play Shelob in this shadow, but Shelob, Eater of Light. She gets stronger for each minion stack on web, but also when you play her you may play [golum] possession from your draw deck, Shelob is also good because of spider poisson. I know it is hard to have shellob and troll at same time, but it is not necessary always, one of them can be deadly. Troll of Cirith Gorgor have to spot orc to come in play, and you have only 6 of them.
You also don’t have Grond. Do you relly need Covetous Uruk?
Here is my shadow based on Troll of Cirith Gorgor:
33 cards total
Troll of Cirith Gorgor x4
Advance Captain x4
Advance Regular x2
Advance Scout x3
Advance Marauder x4
Grond, Hammer of the Underworld x2
Ithil Stone
Shelob, Eater of Light x3
Web x4
Larder x2
Spider Poison x4
or if I play wit 35 cards I put one Ithil Stone, and one Larder or orc. |
