When do sanctuaries heal, at the start of turn, or the start of fellowship? Here’s the scenario I actually ran into. (I love my corruption deck...)
Boromir- 7 burdens thanks to last site’s Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings with Shadowy Mount and Ring of Rancor.
Faramir- Blade Tip.
Entire Fellowship- Exhausted (Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings, Gates of the Dead city x 2).
Does the FP get to heal Faramir before he takes the Blade Tip wound? If so, he could keep fighting. If not, 5 threats come into play and destroy his entire exhausted fellowship, leaving what remains to be picked off by Shotgun Enquea.
I really need to know, because here, it changes the course of the game.
Also, suppose he had his Ring of Barahir out. Would he be able to heal Faramir before Blade Tip? |

Yeah, it’s start of the turn.
And also, Ring of Barahir (start of turn) would trigger before Blade Tip (start of fellowship phase).
Of course, at this point, you are in trouble, but I’m sure you know that |

Also, even if they both triggered at the start of the Fellowship phase, the FP player would get to choose in which order they came. |

Back when I played LotR, Blade Tip triggered TOGETHER with the sanctuaries, I believe. However, the general rules state that:
-When two or more effects with the same controller trigger together, the controller decides which’ll trigger first.
-When two or more effects with different controllers (assuming a 1 on 1 game, so 1 for Shadow, 1 for FP) trigger at the same time, THE FREE PEOPLES PLAYER chooses in which order they’ll occur. |
I don't like YOU. |

Then you played it wrong. First start of the turn actions, then start of the fellowship actions. |

The FP player chooses? Well...then there’s still hope! I though the FP triggered first. But if they get to choose, I have ways of getting my brother to choose the one I want...
In this case, the the only 2 things with the same trigger are Ring of Barahir and the Sanctuary healing, so he just has to choose which one of those two to do first. After both of those effects are completed, then Blade Tip triggers (along with any other ’start of fellowship phase’ cards).
So the only way you’d get to use Blade Tip that turn to kill someone is if your opponent is dumb and doesn’t heal from the Sanctuary.

we have had trouble with this in the past. I am pretty sure it mentions it in the rulebook though. |
