Exert Smaug twice (or once if the current site is a mountain or battleground site) to choose one: replace the fellowship’s current site with your site of the same number; or replace the fellowship’s current site with a site from your adventure deck.
“‘Old Smaug had lived there long enough now to find out anything there is to know about those caves.’”

I know the wording is very complicated, but I didn’t know any other way to make sure this worked with both the pre-Shadows (numbered) sitepaths and the post-Shadows (unnumbered) sitepaths. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I’d just say "to replace the fellowship’s current site with a site from your adventure deck. If the fellowship’s current site has a printed site number, you may only play a site with the same site number."

It’s a little odd, but right now, you could still choose to replace the fellowship’s current site with a site from your deck, even if it doesn’t have the same number (technically).
Our time here is ending...

What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome Smile).

Yeah, still pretty wordy, but I like that MUCH better. Thanks! GP

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Instead of: "(or once if the current site is a mountain or battleground site)." it should read: "(or once if the fellowship is at a mountain or battleground site." Nice card!

If the Ring-bearer is about to take a wound, exert 2 Orc or Sauron minions (or exert an Orc or Sauron minion twice) to prevent that wound and make him or her put on The One Ring until the regroup phase.
“Isildur turned west, and drawing up the Ring that hung in a wallet from a fine chain about his neck, he set it upon his finger with a cry of pain, and was never seen again by any eye upon Middle-earth.”

Awesome. Nice set of Duos. Thumbs Up
