I’ve been brainstorming over the new warg cards for the Orc culture in Rise of Saruman, and I think that they could potentially build into a pretty devastating deck, especially against mono decks like elves and some dwarves.

Anyone thought about this and how an engine could be incorporated into an Orc deck?

Troll Swarm

Troll’s Keyward, Keeper of the Beast x 4
Relentless Warg x 4
Vicious Warg x 4
Orkish Smith x 4

Goblin Hordes x 4
Unforgiving Depths x 3

Porter Troll x 4
Tower Troll x 4
Beastly Olog-hai x 4

Filter with a saved from the fire deck and use Troll’s Keyward to slam them with tons of minions. Bring minions back as needed with Goblin Hordes, especially Troll’s Keyward, add tons of twilight, okay tons of trolls.

Grind

Scouting Orc x 4
Orkish Warg Master x 4
Orkish Smith x 4

Vicious Warg x 4
Relentless Warg x 4
Mordor Scimitar x 4

Goblin Hordes x 4
Unforgiving Depths x 4
Retribution x 3

Scouting Orc comes back over and over on a warg with a Mordor Scimitar, thanks to the Goblin Hordes/Orkish Smith loop for Retribution to play Mordor Scimitar over and over, and then Orkish Warg Master plays back the wargs.

A good idea with this is to run Barrage with A Defiled Charge.

Why not use Vicious Warg in either of those decks? Think

I wouldn’t bother with the Retribution/Mordor Scimitar method in the grind deck. I’d rather use Veteran War chief.
All cards do what they say.
