But notice that both in the freeps AND the shadow side, it’s just some cards that make the price so high. E.g. in this side it is the conditions, whereas in the freeps, it’s mostly the spectral sword. Give him those cards along with the ones he already got, and he can have a great deck (for a beginner) for 20$. |

Sorry to dissapoint you, but with all those heavy minions and 12 events, his hand will cloag against choke freeps sides. Try my shadow and he will see real fun i think. As long as you manage to get a wound or two on the RB, the fun begins!
Plus, the shadow conditions are worth about 7$. Hand him those, along with the spectral sword, and considering he already has some cards along with King of the Dead, you get the price down by about 15$ !!! |

Choke? Yeah it would die. But in out meta, there is only one choke deck (and one guy’s working on building another one).
I’ll make sure he knows that anyway. He loves beatdown, and he would run 4x Sauron, 4x Balrog, 4x Mountain Troll, etc if there wasn’t some semblance of sanity. And a price tag (The crazy thing is that in our meta, it would work. Have you ever seen   in one site? Then a triple?) |
