Holy crap, then there’s no reason not to use him in this deck. He rocks! |

and throw a Coat of Mail on him so he doesn’t get overwhelmed when you don’t/can’t discard a minion.
here is a list of all the possessions that can play on gandalf men:
-Coat of Mail (keeps low-strength companions alive)
-Armor (keeps them healthy and is deadly against beatdown)
-Great Shield (excellent if your men are up against heavy archery)
-Flaming Brand (extra strength, works with the new axe, and has built-in nazzy protection)
-Brego (heals, and makes minions exert, what more can you ask for)
(horse of rohan works too, but it requires the spotting of a man) |

Brego does too, last time I checked.
Oh, and Beorning Axe will be able to be played on Men once T&D releases.

No. I started designing it the second Barliman Butterbur was spoiled. Sorry.
Anyway, if I can get a hold of Grimbeorn, I’ll add him. I’ve already started building this deck, but I looked at the price of flaming Brand and decided to go with Coat of Mail and Heavy Chain... |

does anyone know what Grimbeorn’s Axe actullay says?
I think it would be sweet for someone to have one of these decks with Gandalf, Bearer of Obligation. Burdens can be removed through Watch and Wait, Glamdring, Foe-Hammer, as well as Jarnsmid, Barding Emissary. |
