Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

It helps, but he’s not using his strength either.
It is a possession, so he’s got 5 vitality. Unfortunately, he did factor that in, so if the Snapping Warg is exhausted, it ties his vitality+resistance, winning. |
Our time here is ending...
What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome ). |

Actually, as CG pointed out to me, Ryle actually has 6 vitality. He has 4 by default. His sword gives him another. And then his only gametext gives him one more.
Anyway, as BW pointed out, this was quite a dilemma, as the best I could seem to do was tie the Warg (and thus still lose). Since I assume we can’t use the skirmish event more than once, Ryle would have just continued to lose over and over.
So, I revamped his skirmish event a bit. I feel cheap doing so, especially since I really liked the original event better (it may even make it into one of my DC sets), but I think this new version is still balanced and manages to capture the spirit of the original. And more importantly, it lets Ryle win, albeit barely. And it only required a couple very minor tweaks to the RPG part!
If you have the time, let me know what you think about it now, gentlemen. And thanks for your help.
By the by, aren’t there still a couple Wargs running around? How do we go about finishing them off? |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I like it. The event’s useful, but I don’t think too strong. And the result is nice as well /
I would, though, make one clarification on the card. Namely that Ryle or the ranger exerted would have to be involved in the skirmish.
Otherwise, if (for example), Adalard and any Ranger teamed up, we could assign a minion to each of us, exert the Ranger twice to play your event to use his vitality + resistance (boosted by any wounds on the minion, and if there’s a follower from me) against Adalard’s minion. And even if it was one that had Skirmish: Exert this minion to wound a companion skirmishing him, it would be wounding my high vitality self. So, we get my toughness with the ranger (or Ryle)’s vitality + resistance as strength.
Or even for the Ring-bearer (on either side). |

Done. Thanks! I also got rid of all the "his or her" and "he or she" stuff since A.) we don’t have any females in the party and B.) it was getting ridiculous how much extra text that was adding.
Hmmm...I just realized that maybe we aren’t supposed to be helping each other with the cards like this.
Oh well. Go team!
Now, about those still-living Wargs.... |

Bump. Don’t want this to get lost down there.
I’m guessing that any survivng wargs just run away, and we find out on Monday what happens next. |
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true. |
