Okay, so this card has been SERIOUSLY bugging me since it came out.
Just what is going on in that picture? Is Theoden, like, lifting up Theodred’s dead hand in order to rally the troops?

| if you remember from the movie this is when he was at helm’s delp and was struggling with strategies and arguing with everyone. that picture is when he grabbed one of his fellow soldiers hands to talk to him and to try and explain stuff to him about the battle. |

I also don’t remember it... I remember discussions about it though.
I could see that explanation, but...
If that’s Theoden’s hand that’s gloved, then he’s got to be grabbing the guy’s wrist (and fairly hard) to the left of the image. He’s not even paying attention to that guy. |

I’m not sure, but I think there’s only one hand in the picture...
the "gloved hand" would be part of the robe/coat/sleeve/whatever on the guy’s arm. neither one (if there is two,) is Theoden, though, because they’re too close. His arm would have to be at a really wierd angle.
Why someone would be holding their hand in front of Theoden’s face, I have no idea. |
