AWESOME with Boromir. As some have said already, the resistance boost is even huge. I give it a 5. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Nice. And if you use it with Faramir’s Company, then you can transfer the Company for the healing, then discard it for the boost.
I’m not sure I get this standard +4 from all the horns though... wouldn’t something like "+1 for each (insert something here)" have been better?
Oh, well, I’m sure it will be explained, eventually... |

As a trumpet player I have to say Boromir’s technique could be better. Don’t press so hard! Pull those cheeks in!
Anyway, I love this card! Strength +4, defender +1, and "cannot be overwhelmed unless his strength his tripled" work very well together, and discarding Shadow followers is a nice trick.
Also, a zero-cost possession that doesn’t use up any equipment slots makes a nice addition to a Boromir, Doomed Heir deck. |

Hmm, you reckon a Boromir follower abuse deck could be possible?
Use Boromir, Defender of Minas Tirith for obscene healing, Armor to prevent against wounding decks, four copies of every follower you can get, and then Boromir can just tank up huge, and take on four or five minions. Alternatively, you could use other healing methods, then use Boromir, bearer of council as a normal companion and discard all the minions then double...
sweet. |

This is a well hard card. Defender plus 1 triple to overwhelm resitance +1 and strength plus four? Speaks for itself: 5. |
