I would probably go for U/G madness, it loses very little from the rotation (daze and waterfrond bouncer). My current list is something like:
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Arrogant Wurm
4 Wild Mongral
4 Aquameba
3 Roar of the Wurm
3 Wonder
4 Careful Study
4 Circular Logic
2 Deep Analysis
3 Quiet Speculation
1 Ray of Revelation
4 Yavimaya Coast (can be basics for a rare free maindeck)
10 Island
10 Forest
Sideboard
2 Deep Analysis
1 Ray of Revelation
4 Stifle (Make this squelch and you need no rares!)
4 Mana Leak
4 Oxadize
However I’m also looking at making a R/G or R/G/U madness deck once the Ravnica Dual’s are avaliable (but makes the deck like 100x more expensive), this would look like:
4 Basking Rootwalla
4 Arrogant Wurm
4 Wild Mongral
4 Roar of the Wurm
3 Anger
2 Wonder
4 Careful Study
4 Breakthrough
4 Volcanic Eruption
4 Fiery Temper
4 Wooded Foothills
2 Polluted Delta/Flooded Strand
4 R/G Pain Dual >-- needs basic types for
2 R/U Pain Dual >-- anger, wonder and
2 G/U Pain Dual >-- to be fetchable
4 Forest
4 Mountain
1 Island
Sideboard
1 Wonder
2 Naturalize
4 Stifle
4 Circular Logic
4 Oxadize
Of course how good they are depends on the post-rotation metagame and what, if any, goodies Ravnica brings to the mix. |

Thanx a lot Bubble King. i can now count one deck out: affinity. i dont no if it will still be able to contend with the loss of DotV. B/G looks pretty easy to build. |

while we are on topic, what would eb a good approach on black/green?
it seems that i can only build mono-colored decks...
please keep it as much close to the core set as possible, i don´t buy a booster since scourge, and i´ll probably buy ravnica and 9th and so on. not willing to delve back into mirrodin and kamigawa...
thanks! |

wow, the guilds stuff is so awesome... i hope we have ravnica around here ASAP...
by the way, reanimation is great... have you seen the articles going on at wizards.com about reanimation with two 9th edition starters? wow, great stuff.... i´ve bought the decks (before the article, hahahah), and now i´m buying some singles... too bad we´re out of cruel edict here....
i can´t wait for green/red and red/black, thoyugh, but black/green is very nice up to now. |
