Alright. Well, I have the part of this well under way, but I’d like to start on as well. I just hope I’m not starting more than I can handle.
Anyways, here’s the first few cards.
*Boromir, Son of Gondor
Companion * Man
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Aggressive. Hunter 1.
Boromir is strength +1 for each unbound companion assigned to skirmish.
Regroup: Exert Boromir twice to remove 3 threats.
"Our people, our people! I would have followed you to the end... my brother... my captain... my king!"
Threats are going to be a major theme in the portion of Rise of the Ring, as well as a little bit more captain stuff. So, Boromir helps you manage that.
*Blade of Gondor, Steward’s Heirloom
Possession * Hand Weapon
Strength: +1
Resistance: +1
Bearer must be Boromir. He is strength +1 for each threat you can spot (limit +3).
Skirmish: If you have initiative, discard 3 cards from hand to wound a minion skirmishing Boromir. |

I would add a +1 strength bonus and raise the cost to . for the sweet cards! |
I had to put something here. |

Since he’s aggressive, maybe lower his initial strength to 6 and slap a hunter 1 on him instead.

I’m usually not a fan of drastically changing the stats of well-established possessions, but this is so cool I don’t think I can bring myself to complain. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Hmm.... that skirmish ability just seems too good with the Boromir RB. Perhaps if you made it 3 cards.

Wow! That skirmish ability could get out of hand. Give it a limit of +4.
